What is a day in the life of Joli like at Project Place?
“A day in the life for Joli at Project Place is fulfilling – spending time meeting with and talking to people who are starting on the journey to transform their lives. On a typical day, I will be meeting with clients on Zoom and talking with them about the next steps in their life, whether it is helping them look for sober housing or talking to them about their emotional well-being.”
What inspires Joli to work in reentry?
“What inspires me to work in reentry are my personal experiences, and with the understanding this is a journey and people are all starting at different places and many people just need that supportive mentorship and advocacy.”
What would Joli like people to understand about the challenges individuals face when they are reentering the community from incarceration?
“The challenges individuals face when they are reentering the community from incarceration are extremely hard. There are several barriers, like computers, money, and housing due to CORI’s.”
What is Joli working on that she’s most excited about right now?
“I am most excited about expanding our Project Place services in other parts of MA.”

“In my free time I like to spend time with my family, travel, and cook.”
