Project Place Young Supporters (PPYS) is a philanthropic group of volunteers dedicated to advancing the mission of hope and opportunity for homeless individuals, broadening community support and awareness. We host various fundraising and volunteer events throughout the year.

PPYS volunteers are caring and energetic individuals who work and study in various industries and fields throughout the Greater Boston area and are concerned about the issue of homelessness in the city. The group’s mission is to spread awareness about the issue of homeless and to support Project Place’s mission to end individual homelessness with career readiness training and housing placement.

In 2017, PPYS hosted Hops 4 Hope, a fundraiser in collaboration with Net Impact Boston, an association to mobilize professionals to use their careers to drive transformational change in their workplaces and the world. Young and young-at-heart supporters from around the city gathered to network, sample Dorchester Brewing’s beer offerings and win some great raffle prizes, all in support of Project Place. At the end of the night, we raised over $2,500 for Project Place.
