“Project Place offers clients and staff the opportunity to learn, grow, and excel. My responsibility as an Instructor allows me to serve the clients in ways that are crucial to their development as they seek to gain the skills they need to secure steady employment. It also enables me to create deep bonds with hardworking people who are trying to better their lives. One thing that motivates me to work with our clients is walking into the classroom everyday and seeing their eagerness to learn. I have recently completed a master’s degree in Religious Studies at Harvard Divinity School. Before going to graduate school, I earned my bachelors in Sociology and Psychology at Western Carolina University. In my free time, I enjoy reading non-fiction, doing academic research, listening to hip hop, and watching combat sports.”
