Join us at Project Place on Thursday, November 12 from 6:00-7:30pm for a discussion and Q&A with Andrea James, a current Soros Justice Fellow, and Executive Director of Families for Justice as Healing. Andrea James has worked within the criminal justice system for more than 25 years. She dedicated her time and resources to providing zealous representation to families within her community of Roxbury, MA. In 2009 Andrea was sentenced to serve a 24-month federal prison sentence. Even after a lifetime of work seeking justice on behalf of disenfranchised people, she was stunned at what she encountered upon entering the federal prison system as an incarcerated person.
Light food and refreshments will be served. RSVP encouraged: Email or call Sarah Argeropoulos at 617-542-3740 ext. 421
