Call for Project Place Board of Directors Applications

Help drive the mission and vision of Project Place, while expanding your professional network and honing your leadership skills. Project Place promotes a community of hope and opportunity for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the skills, education and resources needed to obtain and sustain employment and housing.

Project Place believes:

  • Every person, regardless of life’s circumstances, religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

  • Stability is achieved through the obtainment of work and safe housing.

The Board of Directors is the governing body of Project Place and is responsible for supporting and overseeing the fulfillment of its mission to the community, setting direction for Project Place through strategic planning, providing financial oversight and ensuring that Project Place has the resources to carry out its mission. Board members serve a minimum three-year term. The board meets as a full group 4-6 times a year, and board members are also expected to serve on at least one board committee.

The selection of new board members is driven by the desire to ensure that the board is composed of diverse, engaged leaders who bring a range of essential skills and have experience in the areas of Project Place’s work.
