On Thursday, November 10th, nearly 100 guests attended Project Place’s annual Gimme Shelter event at Hard Rock Café Boston. Project Place is grateful to all attendees and sponsors who made this night a music-filled success and helped us reach $5,000 in donations. These funds will support programs and services that provide job training and stability to over 1,400 homeless and low-income individuals yearly.
Attendees mingled and enjoyed drinks and light appetizers while listening to the bands in Gimmer Shelter’s 2016 lineup: Aaron Lippert of Keller-Williams Realty Boston-Metro, Amy Fairchild of Broadway Village Realty, and Sarab Cold & The Sagamore James Band of Sotheby’s Unlimited Realty. Each group provided lively, upbeat sets that drove some attendees to the dance floor—We thank these bands for their amazing performances!
The Briar Group offered a door prize for the event: a $100 gift card redeemable at any of their Boston-based restaurants and bars. The hot prize was gone in a flash!
