There is something special about Project Place. Since I joined the Board of Directors, I have been consistently energized and inspired by Project Place and our work. The immediate and life-changing impacts of the programming, the dedication of the clients to creating better futures for themselves, and the generosity and encouragement of the community all motivate me to fight for this organization. Project Place truly is a special place, and I have seen first-hand that here, people experiencing homelessness and poverty can create transformational change.
In the 55 years since Project Place first opened its doors, we have been dedicated to disrupting the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Based on the understanding that earning a wage is critical to one’s ability to lead a flourishing life, our programming is focused on providing the resources and training necessary to secure employment and housing.
We believe that the human spirit is resilient and that transformative change is possible for everyone when given the right tools and opportunities. I am proud to say our employment-first model and comprehensive approach have earned our programming numerous awards over the years.
I encourage you to learn more about Project Place here: https://projectplace.org/about.
Now, more than ever, the importance of our mission is clear. There is a pressing and urgent need to serve individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty in the Greater Boston community. Further, our clients now remain engaged in our services for up to double the length of time than in previous years.
Would you please join me in making a gift to Project Place and power our movement to end homelessness? Your contribution helps ensure that all people experiencing homelessness and poverty have the opportunity to lead inspired lives and, in turn, be an inspiration to others.
Your generous gift will provide the resources we need in order to best assist our clients. I encourage you to make your gift before our important December 31st fundraising deadline. With your support, our clients can author a new chapter of life, one centered on positive change, personal transformation, and hope.
You may make a gift via a donor-advised fund (tax ID 04-2457732) or online with this link: projectplace.org/give.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity during these challenging times.
