Though it didn’t feel like Spring, our March 1 Spring Brunch saw more than 350 supporters of Project Place, including Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, brave the elements to help us honor Angela Menino. We presented Menino, widow of Mayor Thomas Menino, with the Heart of Gold Award for her years of advocacy on behalf of people who are homeless. The annual event raised over $180,000 for Project Place, and funds will be used to support our programs and services that help some of Boston’s most vulnerable residents get back on their feet. None of this work would be possible without your support!
