Project Place was founded in 1967 with the goal to help those left behind by the community. Our focus is on sustainable, transformative change that creates meaningful opportunities for people to find jobs, housing, and hope. For the better part of our 55 years of service, Project Place has provided comprehensive job training coupled with wraparound supportive services to residents of Boston experiencing homelessness and poverty. We also offer targeted services towards people returning to the community from incarceration, for veterans returning from their service, for parents, and for women. Our goal is to help these individuals break down barriers to economic stability and impart the tools to achieve lifelong self-sufficiency.
About the Event
This year will mark the first Climb for a Cause event for Project Place, and we are so excited for the opportunity to bring our community together to raise awareness and funds to benefit the clients of our organization.
Climb for a Cause is a family-friendly event, centered on climbing the bleachers of Fenway Park. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy this historic location, free of crowds, and surrounded by their family, friends, and those who share a common interest: ending homelessness in Greater Boston.
